A vehicle chase that began in Culver City ended in South Los Angeles when a 46-year-old man got out of his car and ran toward officers, who quickly tackled him, according to a police officer.
The pursuit began in Culver City and ended about six minutes later in Los
Angeles, said Los Angeles police officer Rosario Herrera of the Media Relations
Section.
Police in Los Angeles were notified of the fleeing motorist at about 11 p.m. Friday, according to Herrera. Culver City police attempted to pull over the motorist during a routine traffic stop, according to Herrera.
KCAL9 reported that the vehicle chase ended near the intersection of 52nd
Street and Normandie Avenue.
