KNX Broadcasting All Day Friday From the Culver Hotel

Culver City Patch will be among the local guests interviewed March 9 on the radio, which will broadcast live as part of the 95th anniversary celebrations of the Culver Hotel and "KNX on Your Corner."

To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the , KNX 1070 radio will provide live broadcasts from the hotel all day Friday. The day will be dedicated to highlighting features and news stories that focus exclusively on Culver City.

The program is part of KNX’s ongoing series “KNX on Your Corner,” which travels throughout Southern California and shines a spotlight on local communities.

On Friday, March 9, that spotlight will shine on Culver City. Yours truly will be among the guests, where I’ll be interviewed at 4:20 p.m. about all things Culver City Patch. Other guests throughout the day include Mayor Micheal O’Leary, Chamber President Steve Rose, Councilman Jeffrey Cooper and Downtown Business Association President John Byers. There will be plenty of other guests, but you’ll have to tune in on Friday to find out the full lineup.

News anchors Dick Helton and Vicky Moore will kick off the live broadcast from 5 – 9 a.m. inside the landmark Culver Hotel at 9400 Culver Blvd.  There will be a free continental breakfast for everyone attending, so it’s the perfect incentive to get up early and head downtown.

Frank Mottek will host the KNX Business Hour from 1 – 2 p.m.  and Diane Thompson and Chris Sedens will anchor KNX’s news coverage from 2 – 7 p.m.

There will also be a business mixer open to the public beginning at 5 p.m. Come down and join in and be sure to tune your radios to KNX 1070.

Maybe more to the point, where does the methane (way more powerful than CO2 as a greenhouse gas)Read More release go from the fracking process, where do the "secret"and other cancer causing chemicals go, and who pays for clean-up costs, increased healthcare costs of residents nearby, possible increased earthquake damage, etc. and where does this oil go (we can't use it--too dirty--so probably China)?
