Free LA Philharmonic Concert in Culver City Chambers

The City of Culver City together with the LA Phil will present a free concert in the City Council Chambers on March 22, entitled 'Music in the Chambers.'

Sponsored by Sony Pictures Entertainment, the City of Culver City together with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association, will present a free performance on Thursday, March. 22 in the Mike Balkman City Hall Council Chambers at 7 p.m.

The program, aptly entitled ‘Music in the Chambers,’ will feature a string quartet, and the program will include music by Anton Webern, Ludwig Van Beethoven and others. A question and answer session with the musicians will follow the performance.

The featured performers will be Los Angeles Philharmonic violinist Robert Vijay Gupta, Jin-Shan Dai (violin), Ben Ullery (viola) and Jonathan Karoly (cello).

The series was formerly funded by the Culver City Redevelopment Agency. With the agency’s demise earlier this year, this year’s concert will receive alternative private funding and will not be supported by the City General Fund.
