Easy, fun, and palm-sized! Tabletop moviemaking combines classic storytelling with a digital twist by shrinking down the movie production process to a table-size scope using mini puppets, props and backgrounds. Participants get hands-on moviemaking experience using iPads, iMovie, and the iMotionHD app for stop-motion animation clips. But this is one creative outlet not bound by electricity and a rectangular device. Spatial, tactile, visual and kinetic learners will thrive when it comes time to sketch, color, cut, paste, tape, sculpt and stage their tabletop stories. Students’ voices, personal experiences, problem-solving, and a rich exchange of ideas are all at the heart of the production process as small collaborative groups design their short movies, shared on the final day of workshop. Write. Build. Film. Edit. Share! Tabletop Moviemaking! Sign up today. Class size is limited!

Maybe more to the point, where does the methane (way more powerful than CO2 as a greenhouse gas)Read More release go from the fracking process, where do the "secret"and other cancer causing chemicals go, and who pays for clean-up costs, increased healthcare costs of residents nearby, possible increased earthquake damage, etc. and where does this oil go (we can't use it--too dirty--so probably China)?

As I understand it, fracking wells "dry up" fairly quickly, which is why pressure to keepRead More drilling so urgent. Where do the jobs go after a year or so? Just a thought....
