Fiesta La Ballona Planning Get-Together

You have delivered a roadmap.  Now, let’s get going.

The purpose of Fiesta La Ballona, according to your recommendations at the recent kickoff meeting and in correspondence, is to “develop community” by providing
an environment where participants can interact with local organizations, agencies, and businesses; meet and renew acquaintances; have fun in a safe venue; celebrate the city’s heritage and diversity; and experience local
creativity and community enthusiasm.

You determined the event date, location, and objectives, and shared ideas for fun activities to engage Fiesta guests.

You are invited to the second Fiesta La Ballona monthly planning get-together, this Tue. Nov. 15, 6:30 p.m., at Veterans Aud., hosted by popular Culver City downtown diner Santa Maria Barbecue.  With your help, we will assist our committees with ideas and resources, and determine our budget.

Schools, community groups, businesses, agencies and individuals since 1951 have created an enjoyable family experience each year for the City of Culver City’s signature event held Aug. 24-26 at Veterans Park, attracting some 20,000 guests.
