Fiesta La Ballona Kickoff Meeting

Nobody puts on a community family fair like the City of Culver City.

Mayor Micheal O’Leary and city officials invite all community members to the Fiesta La Ballona kickoff meeting, Tue., Oct. 25, 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Kay ‘n Dave’s Cantina to plan goals and theme, suggest community and business partnerships and sign up for committees.

Guests will enjoy an array of complimentary appetizers, courtesy of the popular downtown Culver City eatery, while last year’s committee thanks volunteers and sponsors from the recently held Fiesta and begins planning for next year’s
event expected to attract some 20,000 guests at Veterans Park, June 22-24.

Schools, community groups, businesses, agencies and individuals, involving some 100 City employees and over 200 volunteers, make Fiesta La Ballona a fun family experience each year, since 1951.

The Fiesta La Ballona Committee meets on either the third or fourth Tuesday, 6:30 p.m., every month. Everyone is welcome to participate as a working member of the committee, or participate in other ways to enhance the Fiesta experience for all.
