Artist Nigama Seeks Donations to Maintain the Ballona Creek Trioliths

The art installation consists of hundreds of stacked rocks that the artist says have turned the area into a 'magical landscape.'

Nigama, a local artist, is seeking donations to maintain the Ballona Creek Trioliths, an art installation of hundreds of stacked rocks.

The project began in May 2010, and Nigama hopes to film a documentary to capture the the 3-stone figures that have "transformed an unremarkable urban creekside into a magical landscape," according to Nigama.

He is hoping to raise $14,000 by April 23.

  • For a pledge of $25, supporters will receive online viewing access to the documentary.
  • For $50, people will receive a DVD copy plus online viewing access.
  • For $100, Nigama will send you an 8x10 framed photograph and the DVD.
  • For $1,000, you will receive a large format canvas photo print, signed by Nigama.
  • For $10,000, Nigama will install trioliths on your property.
