The event will highlight the work of French and American writers.
The Vis-a-Vis French-American Literary Festival this year is being held in Culver City for the first time. The event will feature French and American writers who will exchange ideas while participating in both readings and discussions.
Hundreds are expected to take part in this weekend's festival which organizer Etienne Farreyre said should offer something different for everyone involved.
"It's always nice to have people from different places, different cultures, different backgrounds to interact together and share their art," Farreyre said.
