The Great Escape: Ladies' Night at Rush Street

Mom's Great Escape this week is mom's (Ladies') Night Out at Rush Street. Rush Street holds their Ladies’ Night each Wednesday starting at 9:30pm, and they offer drink specials and even free pole dancing classes!

To begin with, the menu is full and accommodating of many appetites, so a Moms’ Night Out can start with some appetizers and dinner. And no trip to Rush Street is complete without an order of the Truffle Asiago Fries. No need to worry about the calories since there will be pole dancing later – besides, they’re too delicious to miss. A must!

Items from their Spring menu include slow-braised pork shank, parmesan gnocchi, Szechuan chicken potstickers and grilled lamb sliders, all sounding so delicious right now.

Of course there are many more choices, including salads and desserts, but since there are drink specials upstairs for the moms, uh, ladies, it’s best to save a little room.

Once the clock strikes 9:30pm, the action moves upstairs to the second bar where the Ladies’ Night begins. There’s a great lounge area with super comfortable seating, plus an outdoor rooftop patio (the only one in Culver City), and of course, there’s the pole dancing class in – where else? The Pole Room.

Polistic of Studio City handles the teaching and demonstration and it’s quite popular, as well as being quite a workout. Moms who missed their gym time Wednesday morning can make up for it here.

The class and the drink specials are sure to provide some needed stress-relief (and probably some laughs) for busy women who spend most of their time taking care of their families’ needs and don’t often spend the time taking care of their own.

Rush Street offers a great location, a delicious menu, and fun activities for a group of moms to make quite an evening of it – and certainly an escape from the ordinary!
