Support the Troops on July 4 with a $2 Ice-Blended from Coffee Bean

The Coffee Bean will donate $1 from purchases on Independence Day to Operation Homefront – a nonprofit organization that provides aid to U.S. troops and their families.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has teamed up with Operation Homefront - to help raise funds for the non-profit organization that provides emergency financial aid and support to families of service members and wounded troops.

There are several ways customers can support the cause, including an in-store Independence Day event, where The Coffee Bean will donate to Operation Homefront $1 from each sale of any $2 - 12oz. Ice Blended® drinks, including the new summer flavors, Cookies & Cream and Mocha Mudslide.

In addition, from now through Aug. 5, The Coffee Bean will donate $1 from each sale of its limited edition “Support at Home” coffee blend, a pre-ground blend that combines Sumatra and Brazil coffees to create a medium dark roast. The coffee will be available for $9.95 in stores and online while supplies last.

Customers who purchase the “Support at Home” retail coffee can request that the bag be donated directly to returning troops and their families. Each package features a blank surface on the back of the label where customers can write a message.

Maybe more to the point, where does the methane (way more powerful than CO2 as a greenhouse gas)Read More release go from the fracking process, where do the "secret"and other cancer causing chemicals go, and who pays for clean-up costs, increased healthcare costs of residents nearby, possible increased earthquake damage, etc. and where does this oil go (we can't use it--too dirty--so probably China)?
