Sony Pictures Entertainment joined with education-focused, nonprofit City Year on a campus beautification project at Culver City's El Rincon Elementary School on April 19 as part of the studio's Sony Global Volunteer Day.

As part of the studio's annual Sony Global Volunteer Day, Sony Pictures Entertainment spent this past Friday with education-focused, nonprofit City Year on a campus beautification project at Culver City’s El Rincon Elementary School.

Under the theme "Someone Needs You," the annual day of service demonstrated Sony's commitment to its community and volunteerism. More than 24,000 Sony employees from 18 countries volunteer to participate in this program worldwide every year.

As part of the campus beautification project, the Culver City-based studio's employees worked alongside City Year corps members on three murals and a painting to revitalize the school's exterior.
