Rescue Pet of the Week: Roxy, the Maltese Mix

Roxy is sweet and playful.

This is ROXY, an adorable little female Maltese mix. She's black and dark grey (even though she looks light grey in this picture) and is maybe 4 years old. A nice couple found her abandoned on a busy street and brought her to Friends of Animals Foundation after they were unable to locate her owner. She's incredible sweet, affectionate and playful. She has a great personality and would love to show you just how special she really is!

To see Roxy, just call 310-479-5089 or email frndsofanimals@aol.com.

Maybe more to the point, where does the methane (way more powerful than CO2 as a greenhouse gas)Read More release go from the fracking process, where do the "secret"and other cancer causing chemicals go, and who pays for clean-up costs, increased healthcare costs of residents nearby, possible increased earthquake damage, etc. and where does this oil go (we can't use it--too dirty--so probably China)?

As I understand it, fracking wells "dry up" fairly quickly, which is why pressure to keepRead More drilling so urgent. Where do the jobs go after a year or so? Just a thought....
