Rescue Pet of the Week: Mickey the Tuxedo Cat

Mellow and well-adjusted, Mickey is looking for her fur-ever home.

Mickey was found with her sisters pitifully huddled against the body of their dead mother in the spring of 2011. Fortunately for the three of them, it was not too late, and they flourished at Friends of Animals Foundation, growing into vibrant kittenhood.

Mickey is the last of the three waiting to be adopted. She's now a big girl, a black short-haired tux, full of curiosity and playfulness. She possesses a well-adjusted, mellow disposition and appreciates attention. If you’d like to see Mickey, just call 310-479-5089 or email frndsofanimals@aol.com

Maybe more to the point, where does the methane (way more powerful than CO2 as a greenhouse gas)Read More release go from the fracking process, where do the "secret"and other cancer causing chemicals go, and who pays for clean-up costs, increased healthcare costs of residents nearby, possible increased earthquake damage, etc. and where does this oil go (we can't use it--too dirty--so probably China)?

As I understand it, fracking wells "dry up" fairly quickly, which is why pressure to keepRead More drilling so urgent. Where do the jobs go after a year or so? Just a thought....
