Rescue Pet of the Week: Hershey the Cat

Hershey is a mellow cat and believed to be around 8 years old.

Hershey was obviously abandoned, wandering the Westside streets, but had clearly once enjoyed a better life in a real home. He came to Friends of Animals Foundation dirty and underfed, but his rescuer agreed to take him to the vet for a check-up, which found him FIV negative and healthy. His white coat sports a black patch on his head and beautiful chocolate-colored spots on his body. He’s neutered, and maybe 8 years old. Hershey is mellow, incredibly affectionate to everyone, gets along with all the other cats, and really seems to appreciate his new life at the cattery. If you’d like to see this lovely cat, just call 310-479-5089 or email frndsofanimals@aol.com.
