Patch Rescue Pet of the Week Adopted!

Biscuit, the terrier mix at Friends of Animals was posted on Patch on Aug. 28. He's now found his fur-ever home thanks to our listing.

Biscuit, the terrier mix, that Patch posted on Aug. 28 has found his fur-ever home!

Biscuit (click here to read about him) was one of our weekly postings from Friends of Animals Foundation and we just received this email from the volunteers at Friends of Animals.

"On the week Biscuit was Pet of the Week we received an inquiry from a man who works as a trainer in a gym nearby. He said a young lady posted Biscuit's picture and writeup at the front desk as they're all animal lovers there and he just had to come see him. He loved him immediately and adopted him. Yeah! I believe that the young lady saw Biscuit on Patch.com. So thank you soooo much!"

This is a clear warning about what will happen to our aging water and sewer infrastructure, if theRead More city allows frackers to drill under our homes. The city of Westminster in OC last week denied a drilling permit for exactly this reason. It's time for citizens to let their council members know their thoughts on this topic. Council is concerned about a lawsuit if they stop fracking. The cost of a lawsuit pales next to the cost of replacing our infrastructure. Paid by taxpayers. Thus far frackers have never operated in such a densely populated area. In rural areas, there isn't nearly as much infrastructure.

Of course it's a warning our infrastructure is over 90 years old. Fracking or not it's breakingRead More down.
