Culver City Westfield Mall Lights Megablock Menorah

Rabbi Yosef Greisman celebrated the first night of Hanukkah by making it a fun event for everyone visiting the mall.

A six foot menorah built out of Lego Mega blocks was lit for the first time at the Westfield Mall in Culver City on Tuesday night to mark the first night of Hanukkah.

"We wanted to Hanukkah to be fun this year," said Rabbi Yosef Greisman, who oversaw the event. "Hanukkah is a season to spread the light. We light the candle to share the light with everyone regardless of their faith. Building it out of Legos makes it fun for the children and adults as well."

Approximately 100 people attended the ceremony, which was held on the first floor of the Westfield Mall in the court outside Best Buy.
