After a holiday weekend outside in the yard or at the beach, Fido might need a quick wash. After all, you don’t want to pick up tons of dirt in addition to leftover noisemakers. With that in mind, California Groomin’ is offering a $15 Doggie Express Wash, which includes a shampoo, rinse and towel dry, for pooches up to 20 pounds. (For larger dogs, the price increases incrementally.)

Disney Store’s Twice Upon a Year Sale
Now this is nice timing, what with Cars 2 driving through multiplexes all over the city. The Disney Store in Westfield Culver City is celebrating its twice-yearly sale with select items marked at 40 percent off their original price. Take advantage soon, though. The sale ends Sunday.
