Dan Retting is co-owner of the family-run business Martin B. Retting Inc., a gun shop on Washington Boulevard. He took over the store in 1971, after his father had started the business as a teenager in the late 1920s, early 30s in upstate New York. It has been in its current location since 1958.
It sells modern and antique firearms, swords, collectibles, ammunition and reload equipment.
