City Tavern’s ‘Not Your Mother’s Mother’s Day’ Feast

You can always go the traditional flowers and cards routine this Sunday for Mother’s Day, but what if your family is not traditional? And let’s face it, whose is?

In that case, is welcoming mothers and their families to attend its “Not Your Mother’s Mother’s Day feast, featuring beer pairings and a three course menu.

Chef Jessica Christensen will prepare the, $36 pre-fixe featuring four special beers selected by Eagle Rock Brewery’s Ting Su.

The offer is available this Sun. May 13 from noon to 9 p.m.

The menu is as follows:     

▪               Deviled egg, curried cauliflower

▪               Heirloom tomato salad with strawberries, buratta, balsamic vinaigrette

▪               Pan-seared salmon with grilled asparagus, roasted fingerling potatoes

▪               Molten chocolate cake with raspberry and mint syrup

Don’t forget these come with four beer pairings, too.
