Big Stores Offer Bounty of Black Friday Deals

Keep on reading for the hottest deals in town, just in time for the holiday.

Laptop and TV Deals at Best Buy

Electronics giant Best Buy will be opening its doors at midnight on Black Friday to offer customers deals that are limited but easy on the wallet. Select Samsung laptops are set for a planned sale price of $299.99, but keep in mind that there might be as few as 10 per store. The same goes for Sharp 42-inch LCD TVs, which are scheduled to be sold for $199.99.

Pajama Party at Westfield Culver City Mall

Kicking off at 12:01 a.m. on Nov. 25, the Westfield Culver City mall will host live performances by singer JoJo, and Kayla Radomski and Kupono Aweau from “So You Think You Can Dance.” There will also be giveaways every 15 minutes until 8 a.m. in the center court. Visitors can count on gratis Keurig coffee and a LOLidays digital photo booth. And don’t forget to wear your PJs—it’s actually encouraged.

$1 Oatmeal at Jamba Juice

To help fortify weary shoppers, Jamba Juice will be offering $1 oatmeal at the Westfield Culver City mall from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Nov. 25, as part of the shopping center’s Pajama Party. That should help Mom and/or Dad make it to the next sale.

50 Percent off Printers at Office Depot

If you’re thinking of printing your creative holiday cards from home, Black Friday looks like a great day to buy a printer for just that kind of project. Office Depot is planning to mark down select printers from brands such as Canon and HP by 50 percent. Prices will start at $39.99 (regularly $79.99).

40 to 50 Percent off Select Kids’ Clothing at Macy’s

Holiday parties are coming up, and it’s always nice to have Johnny and Jane’s closets stocked with dress shirts and dresses. Select boys’ items from brands— including Nautica and Calvin Klein—will be discounted by 40 percent, with prices starting at $16.80 (regularly $28). Girls’ holiday dresses will be marked down by 50 percent and will start at $24 (regularly $48). Remember, supplies are limited and will vary depending on the store.
