Assemblymember Holly Mitchell’s Christmas in July Event Saturday

The 2nd annual event will take place at Kenneth Hahn Park from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday to benefit at-risk youth.

The L.A Sparks’ Sparky, along with Rudolph the red nosed reindeer will join 47th District Assemblymember Mitchell as “Secret Santas” as she hosts her annual event, welcoming everybody and giving Christmas prizes to local youths age 7-15 nominated by area schools, and their parents

The event will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sat. July 14 at the Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area, Lower Olympic Forest, 4100 S. La Cienega Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90056 (near bridge entrance)

The day will consist of activities that focus on fun and fitness, health, education and literacy. There will be give-aways and Christmas gifts (including e-readers and bikes) for low-income families from across the 47th Assembly District.
