1. "The Woman in the Wall" by Overtone Industries

Where/When: ; Friday, March 30, 8 p.m.
Why Go: Check out the world premiere of the new opera, The Woman in the Wall, with the final weekend of performances at the Masonic Lodge in Culver City, CA.  The Woman in the Wall is an opera compose by O-Lan Jones and librettist Kathleen Cramer. It will be conducted by David O. 
Price: $25.

2. Tomato-Bration Heirloom Plant Sale and Workshop

Find out what's happening in Culver Citywith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Where/When: Ocean View Farms Community Garden; Saturday, March 31, 9 a.m., and Sunday, April 1, 9 a.m.

Why Go: This weekend's event will feature 90 varieties of organic tomato plants. There will also be a free workshop at 10 a.m. The 8th annual event ends at 4 p.m. on both days.
Price: Free.

3. Forte Animal Rescue's Weekly Adoptions

Where/When: ; Saturday, March 31, 12:30-3:30 p.m.

Why Go: Visit the weekly pet adoptions sponsored by Forte Animal Rescue. The organization rescues many different breeds and mixes, including poodles and pit bulls.
Price: Free.

4. "American Night: The Ballad of Juan Jose''

Where/When: ; Friday, March 20, 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 31, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 1, 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Why Go: This is the last weekend to catch a performance of Center Theatre Group's "American Night: The Ballad of Juan Jose'' which tells the story of a resident alien and what happens the night before his United States citizenship test. Those who attend tonight's performance will also be treated to "Fiesta Friday" which features a complimentary tequila tasting, appetizers, and music by DJ Peter Krouse.

Price: Tickets start at $20.

5. Live Music featuring Stacy Phillips and Paul Howard
Where/When: , Saturday, March 31, 8 p.m.

Why Go: Stop by for a performance of "Neo-Urban Traditional Music" which combines composed and improvised songs. Stacy Phillips will also conduct a dobro workshop from 4-6 p.m. tomorrow for an additional price.

Price: $15.
