What’s Up: Issues & Eggs, Back to School, Final Summer Music Concert

Here are five things to know in Culver City today.

1. L.A. District Attorney Jackie Lacey is the speaker at this morning’s Issues and Eggs forum for the Culver City Chamber of Commerce at the Culver City Doubletree by Hilton.

2. Culver City schools resume on Aug. 26 and Westfield Culver City is holding a back-to-school summer experience. There will be special events, and prizes both online and in stores in the mall.  Click here for more details.

3. The final free outdoor Summer Music Festival in the courtyard at City Hall takes place this tonight at 7 p.m. The evening’s entertainment will be provided by Premier Led Zeppelin tribute band Led Zepagain. Read more about the band here.

4. At its recent Board of Directors Meeting the Culver City Sister Committee discussed exploring the creation/development of a Friendship City and is looking for feedback. Where would you like to explore for a new Friendship City? NOTE: A Friendship City is not a Sister City but a more casual relationship.
