What's Up: Helms Bakery, Parking Meter Resolution, Junior MasterChefs

Here are five things to know in and around Culver City today.

1. The Helms Bakery  complex will actually open… wait for it… a Helms Bakery in 2014, reports Eater LA. Read all the details here.

2. The Culver City City Council has adopted a resolution establishing parking meter fees Including a new parking meter rate of 25 cents per hour at 10-hour time limited parking meters citywide.

3. Culver City’s Sony Pictures Entertainment and MRC have agreed to co-produce and co-finance Chappie, the next film from writer-director Neill Blomkamp. Read the details here.
