Send Patch Your Photos Of Obama's Motorcade

Obviously we want you all to drive safely, but if you happen to see the motorcade or police barricades while stuck in traffic, email or tweet your photos/videos to us.

It's a big day for Los Angeles traffic: rain is in the forecast and President Obama will be hitting the streets in Westwood and Beverly Hills just before rush hour.

Update [1:35 p.m.]: LAPD Names Streets to Avoid During Obama Visit

Patch is following the latest on road closures and other traffic advisories for the president's evening plans. If you are out this afternoon or gazing out your office window and catch a glimpse of the president's helicopter in flight or his motorcade driving to Westwood and Beverly Hills, snap a quick photo or take some raw video and send it our way. Tweet a photo to your local Patch editor (to follow their Twitter username, see below), post them on your local Patch's Facebook page or upload them directly to this story.

Obviously, Patch does not condone distracted driving, so please be careful on the roads.

How come they do not use green energy cars? I do not see anything that gets more than 12 mpg.
