Downtown Culver City Holiday Ice Rink Debuts Nov. 20

Downtown Culver City probably isn’t the first place that comes to mind when you think of a winter wonderland, but thanks to MelroseMAC, the Culver City Downtown Business Association and Willy Bietak productions, 9300 Culver Boulevard – in what will eventually become Parcel B - will be turned into an ice skating rink, open to all.

The 50 x 90 ice rink will debut on Nov. 20 and run through Jan. 7, 2013. Admission is just $10 and kids 12 and under, $6. Skate rental is $4.

An outreach alliance with the Culver City Education Foundation will provide fundraising incentives that give back to local schools. The rink would not have been possible without the support from the nearby Culver Studios.

Parking is available at the Ince Parking Structure, 9099 Washington Blvd. The first two hours are free.

Tickets can be purchased at the rink or in advance at www.holidayicerink.com 

HOURS OF OPERATION/ADMISSION: One-hour sessions. Admission $10. Kids 12 and under $6.
