1) $7.99 Daily Special at Samosa House East
This kid-friendly Indian restaurant on the corner of Washington Boulevard and Overland Avenue is a great place to enjoy vegetarian fare in a casual environment. Not only that, but the restaurant also offers a daily special of $7.99 for a complete meal. That includes a combination of three vegetables as well as bread (naan) and rice.

Taking the whole family to the movies doesn’t have to break the bank – that is, if families are willing to catch movies that have been around for more than a few weeks. Culver Plaza Theatres offers thrifty pricing for its films, charging only $6 for an adult ticket on all shows before 5 p.m. After 5 p.m., that price rises to $8, and children ages 2-12 are $5.50 all day. Just remember to check what’s showing and its rating. Some offerings might not apply to those under age 13.

3) Combo Specials at Lunch
Sometimes it’s hard to decide exactly what you might want for a midday meal, but Lunch in downtown Culver City has that covered. The restaurant’s daily specials, which run either $7 or $8, offer customers a choice of half-sandwich and soup combos, featuring its signature LT (lettuce and tomato plus choice of protein), half-sandwich and salad combos, as well as a salad and soup combo. From there, all customers have to do is decide.

4) $6.95 Special at LaRocco’s Pizzeria
What’s not to love about a restaurant that boasts as its closing time “when we run out of dough”? Turns out, LaRocco’s on Main Street also has a great meal deal. The restaurant, whose owner brought New York-style pizza to Culver City, offers a daily special that includes a slice, a salad (house or Greek) and a soda for $6.95.

5) Spring Break Sale at Aéropostale
As the SoCal weather slowly warms up, parents are most likely considering how to outfit the kiddos in wallet-friendly spring attire. Aéropostale, located on the second floor of the Westfield Culver City Mall, is featuring spring break deals that include two tops for $20, as well as a free T-shirt with shorts purchase.
